To find the correct parts for most electric mowers you may need information from the data plate such as the Product or Serial Number. This information is usually located at the back of the machine as illustrated below along with a sample Flymo date tag. You will also find your full Model Number here as well.
*PLEASE NOTE* Petrol lawnmowers have two different sets of information to work with..... A) The Lawnmower Data B) The Engine Data (which we will cover in the next step). The lawnmowers data can be located at the front, top, back or side of the machine, as illustrated below along with a sample Honda data tag. This information is required for Blades, Wheels, Handle Bars, Cables, Grass Bags and all other "Chassis" componants.
In order to obtain the correct parts for your petrol engine it is essential to find the engines serial numbers. These can be located in several different places depending on manufacturer but are normally always "stamped" or "engraved" in to the engine or on one of the metal covers around the engine. The most popular engine fitted to 80% of petrol lawnmowers and lawn tractors is Briggs & Stratton.
*PLEASE NOTE* Similar to petrol mowers, we have two different sets of data to work with here.... A) The Lawn Tractor Data B) The Engine Data (see above). Depending on the manufacturer, this information can normally be found on or under the bonnet, under the seat or on the lower main chassis frame (just below the engine). Use the arrows below and see our MTD / Lawnflite / Cub Cadet example data tag.
For any other products not mentioned here (Brush Cutters, Cultivators, Hedge Cutters, Tillers or Trimmers) just use the same methods as above to locate your model, serial or product numbers prior to Contact Us.
