Description

The Agri-Fab 45-0299 Plug / Aerator (Hollow Tine) has a 48″ (122cm) working width and can be towed behind and lawn / garden tractor.

It uses a series of 6 banks of 4 x Aerator Knives which are galvanised for rustproof durability, and will remove a 3″ Depth x ¾” Diameter plug from the lawn allowing compacted soil to breath easier and improve drainage.

Best used on compacted areas such as clay, heavy traffic areas (playgrounds and sports fields), and burned out or drought damaged lawns.

The whole unit is constructed from durable 12 gauge steel and features a heavy duty weight tray. Additional weight can be added (such as building blocks) up to 140lbs / 64kg to improve ground penetration. A single lever engages and disengages the spikes allowing you to easily switch between transportation and working modes.
