The STIGA A 3000 Autonomous Robot Mower is cable-free, meaning there is no need for a boundary perimeter wire.

Once the charging dock and reference station are installed, the perimeter is set up “virtually” using the STIGA.GO app. This means your perimeter can be changed at anytime.
The A3000 then plans it’s mowing sessions intelligently using the patented AGS (Active Guidance System) technology. It also cuts in systematic patterns, therefore it will continue cutting from exactly where it stops. It can be changed via the STIGA.GO app; cut from north to south or east to west, or in a diagonal direction.
How Does It Do This?
STIGA autonomous robot mowers collect information from satellites (GPS + GNSS), to know their positions and navigate around your garden. Other autonomous mowers often lose signal due to obstacles, the STIGA A3000 uses AGS to predict each satellites signal quality at different times of day. It then intelligently plans its mowing path in advance, to ensure it can mow uninterrupted when the signal is strongest.
The STIGA A3000 works out exactly when, where and how to cut your grass and keep it healthy while also giving you time to enjoy your garden.
When Does It Mow?
Equipped with the long-lasting STIGA ePower battery, the A3000 can reliably cut a 3000 sqm lawn in just two cutting sessions per day.
Each cutting session lasts no longer than 2.5 hours; we recommend these be scheduled between 10am to 12pm and again between 7pm to 9pm*.
Within 7 days the entire 3000 sqm will have been cut twice! Each session always starts where the previous one finished, so the robot can care for the whole lawn area by cutting different zones every day.
*To preserve your lawn’s health and to protect nocturnal wildlife these hours have been identified as being the most beneficial, however you can fully control the schedule via the app.
How Does It Mow?
It features 6 “swing blades” which mow at 2400rpm for an impeccable mulched finish. The cutting disc also rotates alternatively on each cut (Clockwise then Anti-Clockwise) to extend the life of the blades.
The blades can pivot out of the way should they strike a foreign object which helps avoid unnecessary damage. Despite having high speed blades, it’s sound deadening keeps noise to an absolute minimum. For days when you have a garden party, you can use the app’s stay-away setting to tell the robotic lawn mower what areas to avoid and at what times.
Data Requirements
The A3000 comes with a 1500 hour data connectivity pack (enough for approx. two years). Further data-packs are required once the initial period has expired and can be purchased via the SIGA.GO app. The robot works by transmitting data between the STIGA Cloud and the robot itself. Data is essential and the A 3000 will not work without it. Data usage is depending on the amount of information transmitted (ie. size of lawn / layout / schedule etc).
